it's that time of year again for Sekido! it's basically this huge bicycle flea market that's only held twice per year, the 3rd Saturday of October and April. i would love to wake up at 3am, delirious from lack of sleep, and rummage for cheap bike parts, but alas, i'm stuck in Hawaii... for those of you in Japan or planning to go to Japan, I highly recommend you go to this event if you can! there are some great deals, but you have to wake up extremely early or just be lucky!
i just realized, art is very dangerous.
it's that time again, when projects and tests pile up and lack of sleep is no longer abnormal.
even so, working until late at night on art projects with only music as company is love.
and i know posts without pictures are boring! i will post with pictures one day...soon?

久しぶり~ haven't been doing much, just hanging out with friends and dealing with school. i'm slowly figuring out how difficult and painful glass blowing can be and having fun cutting my fingers on copper plates and stabbing myself with burnishing tools! :3 despite that, i have to say, i love art and realized how much i missed it in Japan!
i'm still riding my bike around school, but I've totally been slacking on practicing! i need to hayaku and learn how to keo spin and do a wheelie!! Besides that, all i've been thinking of is stratos, stratos, stratos. if only i were the richest person in the world...

3rd week of school, done!
before my friend went away, we watched "Adam," drew with a pack of 120 crayola crayons while eating McDonalds and Starbucks, read "Where the Wild Things Are," and found magical cats and cats in hats. fun.
i've also been hanging out with some nihonjin tomodachi i met in Japan! Kurara, Momoko, Susumu, Iida family, ハワイで一緒に遊んでくれてありがとう！とっても楽しかった！また来てね！待ってまーす。
土曜日：i didn't think i'd want to buy anything at this local fair, but ugh, the food! the coffee, the cookies, the shave ice, the sauces and dressings!!! いろいろなハワイの名物（食べ物とか服のブランドとかクラフト）があったけど、一番好きなものはやっぱ食べ物だYO!パパヤのカキ氷（Artificialじゃなくて、NaturalパパヤのSyrupがカキ氷の上にかけられた）はSuperおいしかった～たくさん写真を撮りたかったけど、「撮るのがだめ」って書いてあるサインがあった。。。まあ、使用がないねｗｗ日曜日：マックスとAloha Fixedの二年間の記念日のPartyに行った！たくさんピストに乗ってる人がいて、ちょっとビックリ！
月曜日：新しい学期が始まっちゃった。。。でも、今学期、Glass blowingとPrintmakingを受けてる～楽しみにしてる～Artが大好きｗｗ
